The Thomson Reuters Foundation is currently seeking a talented, creative and high-energy Executive Producer. With strong management experience and a television, news documentary or digital news background, the ideal candidate must have strong journalistic and creative story-telling skills to lead an award-winning team of film makers and video producers. Please note, this position is a 1 year fixed term contract.
The Executive Producer will set the new creative direction and distribution strategy for Thomson Reuters Foundation video content which includes: short documentaries, news packages, promotional and marketing videos.
The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities are driven both by the news cycle as well as commercial and institutional priorities of the organization. A strong journalistic edge, experience in distribution and partnerships strategy is essential. Knowledge of international human rights issues will be seen as a strong advantage.
