A growing manufacturing company, is seeking someone to oversee financial operations. This role involves preparing budgets, monthly financial statements, and maintaining internal controls for risk mitigation and policy adherence. They will lead the Payables and Receivables departments and manage a small team of accountants. They will also spearhead the annual audit process.
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly financial statements and forecasts
Annual budgeting
Ad hoc reporting
Invoicing and collections
Payables management
Handling inventory, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
Providing financial leadership and overseeing all financial processes
Ensuring tax compliance
Enforcing internal controls and adherence to regulations and industry standards
Cultivating positive relationships across the organization
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
CPA certification (mandatory for consideration)
Supervisory and audit experience desirable
5-7 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated team leadership abilities
Quick learner with the ability to handle sensitive information securely
