The Team: The team primarily covers financial institutions and markets content in English. This team sits within the Editorial, Design & Publishing group. You will join a dynamic group editors across the globe who support all of S&P Global, but with a particular focus on Market Intelligence news and research content.
The Impact: As part of the Financial Institutions Group EDP team, you will play help the team to deliver high-quality data-driven news to industry stakeholders across the financial world covering topics including M&A, regulatory and legislative events, central bank decisions, stock market movement, credit markets and a whole lot more.

Responsibilities:
Full-time editor with knowledge of financial markets coverage, ranging from market-moving economic trends to in-depth banking regulatory issues.
Edit English-language financial news, working with reporters and other editors to craft and sharpen insightful stories.
Shape content by pitching fresh story ideas and providing effective feedback in news meetings.
Use your strong communication skills and work under deadlines.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably linked to journalism, business or related fields)
2+ years of journalism experience
Fluency in English
Proven professional journalism experience, including English-language copy, with strong communication, writing and editing skills
Command of journalistic best practices (AP style, libel issues, etc.)
Ability to establish credibility with diverse team members and clients
Candidates will need to pass in-house editing test, prior to interviews with the team.
