This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced reporter with a passion for community news or a strong Journalism school graduate.

Responsibilities
Help provide competitive coverage of the Salisbury and Rowan County community, including breaking news coverage
Collaborate with other writers and help organize and prioritize coverage

Skills
At least 1-year experience in a community news setting is preferred.
Concise, accurate writing skills
Basic photography skills are necessary
Experience covering crime, government, education, and features are all beneficial, but not required.
InDesign and video editing skills are also a plus, but not required
