Scientific Technical Writer

Washington Business Dynamics (WBD) is seeking an experienced Scientific Technical Writer to support external clientele needs for National Institute of Health programs. This individual will support clientele with scientific workshops and other events to assist the Institute in conducting and implementing its biomedical programs. Position will be responsible for the Must be able to think analytically, articulate ideas clearly, and write and/or edit a wide array of copy. Skilled in writing reports, executive summaries, news stories, and magazine-style, longer-form articles, and other communication materials with attention to facts, detail, and context. Ability to work under pressure, be constructively proactive, successfully manage multiple projects and meet multiple tight deadlines; simultaneously negotiate new and ongoing priorities while working in a dynamic, complex environment with a high-level of communication, transparency, and diplomacy. Experience with health and science research, NIH or Aligned health/science federal agency experience is preferred.
