Producer – Audio and Video Podcast Editor

Position Overview:
As a Producer at sdpn, you will play a crucial role in recording and editing programming on the network and clips for social media. You will work closely with our content creators and hosts to bring their vision to life, ensuring that each episode meets our high standards of quality. Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with hosts and content creators to brainstorm and develop sports podcast ideas.
– Conduct research, scriptwriting, and content preparation for podcast episodes.
– Record and edit audio and video content, ensuring top-notch audio and video quality for a seamless experience.
– Manage post-production tasks, including sound mixing and video editing.
– Coordinate and schedule recordings with hosts and guests as needed.
– Stay updated on major sports news, trends, and storylines.

Qualifications:
– A strong passion for sports and a deep understanding of the sports landscape.
– Proven experience in audio and video production, including recording, editing, and video editing.
– Proficiency in audio and video editing software (preferably Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere, & After Effects).
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Creative and detail-oriented with a knack for storytelling.
– Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
– Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs.
– Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms (e.g., Anchor, Megaphone, RedCircle, Libsyn) is a plus.

Compensation:
$80 per episode produced
