Reporting to the Creative Manager the Senior Content Writer will be a key member of the marketing team and will be responsible for the ideation, strategy, creation, and oversight of content writing for the department. You will develop and maintain an editorial calendar that provides strategy for content aligning with organizational goals. The content will span short and long form, and will be informative, relevant, and accurate to promote retention and to attract a new customer base. You will work closely with all departments in the organization to deliver the ”best in class” marketing campaigns based on the mission and goals of Music & Arts.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
Responsible for developing strategic content marketing plans and editorial calendar.
Write all forms of content for the marketing team and to support other departments including: advertising copy, social media content, landing page copy, long form articles and blogs, thought leadership copy, informational copy such as brochures, product copy, press releases, and other content as identified by need.
Review and edit content created by the marketing department and other departments as needed.
Create quality, error-free, on-time copy content for product/marketing deliverables.
Research information to develop copy, headlines, bullets, etc.
Work closely with teams from marketing, merchandising, IT, creative, operations, sales, and finance to support the brand’s business objectives
Coordination and communication with cross-functional teams
Project manage all content related campaigns and activities
Input/maintain campaign & tactic tickets
Coordination/communication with relevant stakeholders across the business
Additional duties, as assigned.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:
Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Journalism, English, or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 6 years of work experience as a content writer
Experience with advertising copywriting
Experience with longform content writing: articles, blogs, press releases, and thought leadership pieces
Experience with online marketing content: landing pages, product page copy, social media content and email writing
Skilled experience proofreading content
High preference toward experience in the music industry
