The Role

We’re looking for a talented Senior Content Writer to join Ravelin’s growing marketing team. Your role is to educate our audience, build brand awareness, generate interest and showcase our expertise. You’ll have a proven interest in tech, and it’s a plus if you’ve worked in fraud/payment/fintech.

You have a knack for cutting through the noise to catch your audience’s attention. You know how to capture your reader’s interest, understand their challenges and make content to meet their needs. You’ll have an instinct for what good content looks like and how to create, improve and promote it. This role will also involve direct market research and developing an online community. We’re looking for a creative, hands-on writer to help us establish Ravelin as the leading voice in the fraud/payments industries. You’ll work closely with our customer-facing teams to understand trends, customer challenges and opportunities in the fraud/payments market. You’ll be joining a friendly, close-knit marketing team and reporting into the Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities
Write clear, compelling copy in line with our brand tone of voice across various mediums (ads, blog posts, emails, web, long-form guides, infographics)
Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce concepts, and follow through to execution
Contribute ideas and initiatives to help shape the editorial calendar on a quarterly basis
Conduct high-quality research and interviews
Edit and proofread copy to ensure it meets our editorial standards
Use SEO principles to maximize content reach
Collaborate with designers and internal digital team on projects (email campaigns, landing pages, interactive design)
Work with internal teams to extract technical insights and deliver them to our target audiences

Requirements
3+ years experience in copywriting/content or a related role
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (journalism, English, modern languages etc.)
Knowledge and understanding of online content strategy
Exceptional writing and research skills
Versatile writing style to suit multiple audience segments
Strong listening skills and precise attention to detail
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Creativity and ability to think conceptually
Good project and time management skills
Proven ability to distill and simplify complex technical product details into engaging, exciting content
