We are seeking a Senior Creative Copywriter who is responsible for creating unique and engaging content that speaks to our client’s consumer, shapes a consistent image and meets established brand strategies and expectations. This is a permanent, part-time position, 3-4 days per week.

As the Senior Creative Copywriter, you will work collaboratively with the strategic and creative teams, working on a range of global campaigns for two well-established global accounts; a premium combustible tobacco brand and the pioneering brand of the vape category. It is essential that you ensure the strategic foundation of the brand underpins all your copy, making sure the brand tone of voice is consistently used to connect all brand, concept and product narrative.The ideal candidate has a strong agency background with a portfolio demonstrating experience with clients branding and multi-channel campaigns.

Own the ability to deliver big ideas that are both on brand and aligned with strategy, while maintaining accuracy and consistency in writing style to connect all brand, concept and product narratives.
Write clear, concise and strategic messages that drive business results, support key marketing initiatives and inspire action.
Partner with Senior and Creative Directors to develop work that speaks genuinely to our client’s consumer, shapes a consistent image and meets brand strategies and expectations.
Write creative headlines, short- and long-form copy across multiple accounts, applying a global lens to ensure that messaging will resonate effectively at both a local and cultural level.
Participate in concept meetings, raising copy issues where relevant, and in brainstorming sessions to help develop and define creative strategies.
Convert complex, technical information into easy-to-read promotional copy while maintaining brand voice.
Analyze and interpret language to determine appropriate style and grammatical usage required.
Demonstrate organization and ability to balance multiple projects across a variety of media including print, POS, advertising and interactive.
Collaborate with team members and all departments accordingly to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
Engage directly with clients during status calls and creative presentations.
Possess superior language, grammar and creative writing skills.
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and flexibility in meeting urgent requests.
Keep up-to-date with trends in branding, marketing, advertising and related communications industries.
Become and stay knowledgeable about products and services specific to assigned accounts.
Proofread and edit as necessary.
Enter time on a daily basis.
Travel periodically, as needed.

What Else

Knowledge, skills, abilities:

Strong understanding of shopper marketing required.
Experience of FMCG brand activation strongly preferred.
Ability to analyze and interpret all forms of information, write for a variety of media and audiences and conform messaging to prescribed style format.
Ability to multitask, take initiative, work efficiently and be flexible when quick turn-around projects come up.
Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
Ability to be team oriented as well as work independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of authoring tools a plus.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to follow all standard agency policies and procedures.
The UK team are working remote first with occasional visits required to London or Bristol.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, advertising, communication or related field of study preferred.
5+ years of advertising or brand design agency experience required.
2+ years of experience in tobacco/vape category required.
