Senior Director of Marketing

The Senior Director of Marketing is responsible for sustaining and building the strength of the organization’s brand—which includes its reputation for thought-leadership, innovation, quality professional development, and delivering world class events —via thoughtful and strategic leadership of the planning and execution of all marketing and communications efforts. The senior director of marketing oversees the marketing department, with responsibility for tactical support of org wide initiatives, editorial content, social media, public relations, and building and engaging audience and demand. In this role, the senior director of marketing provides long- and short-term strategic planning and direction, fosters innovation, ensures productivity and maximize revenue and profit generation while controlling costs in order to ensure strong financial performance. This position can be located in Portland, OR or Arlington, VA.
