Senior PR Executive

We are looking for a Senior PR Specialist to cover a year’s maternity leave here at QVC UK.

Reporting to the Band Development & External Relations Manager, this is a Senior role within the External Relations team (Which sits within the Commerce function). You will oversee all press office and social media influencer activity to support the Beauty & Homes Merchandise categories in addition to managing social media influencer partnerships to support the commercial priorities and brand elevation goals.

Your Impact

As part of the Commerce team, you will improve QVC’s brand stature, reputation and awareness and help grow new customer interest through contributing to an impactful PR program that reaches a broader target audience base. A strategic approach is required and you will support the Band Development & External Relations Manager in the implementation and analysis of the annual strategy, supported by the two external PR agencies

What You Bring

You have strong multi brand retailer experience and have ideally worked with Premium Beauty brands.
We ask that you have in-depth knowledge, campaign experience and passion for the Media & Influencer Marketing world. Be informed of the trends and opportunities and align with QVC UK’s commercial and strategic focuses to produce quality coverage.
You will be a ‘go-to’ person within the External Relations & Brand team (for the wider UK business) to filter information and decide on the right brand route, observe and create PR/Influencer opportunities and help manage against crisis risks. You will deputise for the Band Development & External Relations Manager (represent the team in important meetings, presentations, crisis management etc), supporting the Commerce Director where required. Must be confident and experienced in interacting with senior stakeholders, both internal and external.
You will focus on important commercial moments. The generation and suggestion of new ideas and projects, following the brand image and values, is necessary in this role.
You will thrive in very fast paced environments where information can change quickly. You will be hands-on, and have creative, strategic and elevated involvement in multiple projects at any one time.
You will excel at building relationships; both internally through interaction and partnering with nearly every department within the UK business, and externally ensuring the two external PR agencies are fully briefed and achieving their KPIs
