Short Term, Part Time Junior Copywriter

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Junior Copywriter to join our marketing team This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to contribute to the success of our brand and gain valuable experience in a thriving industry.

You will be crucial to the Shop PO e-commerce marketing team and work on various initiatives such as: email marketing, content creation, campaign collaboration, brand voice, and more! **This role is expected to work 10 hours a week for a 3 month contract**

What You'll Do:

Craft engaging and compelling copy for email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials
Collaborate with the design team to ensure seamless integration of copy and visuals within templates and character limit restrictions
Maintain a consistent voice and tone across all SPO communication platforms and incorporate relevant language into marketing materials
Contribute ideas for promotional strategies and creative concepts
Work on the evolution and refinement of the SPO brand voice
Maintain a deep understanding of the target audience to create content that resonates with customers

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
0-2 year's experience in e-comm retail copywriting (Internships and Co-Ops are welcome!)
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills

Expected Base Hourly Range: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr
