Sports Reporter

The Daily Herald is seeking an experienced sports reporter to help spearhead our coverage of high school athletics in Snohomish County, a topic of great importance to our Pacific Northwest readership. The ideal candidate is a clear, concise and prolific writer who excels at producing a variety of written and online content that continues The Herald’s strong tradition of prep sports coverage. This includes game coverage, feature stories, breaking news, in-depth enterprise stories, season previews, All-Area teams and more. Experience with promoting content on most major social media platforms is a plus. This reporter will be an expert on Snohomish County prep sports, working closely with our other high school sports reporter to cover a robust preps scene that includes more than 25 high schools.
