Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a Sports Content Writer role. The Sports Content Writer will be responsible for writing clear and engaging content that informs, educates and entertains our audience of sports betting enthusiasts across the Empire State. You will provide expert analysis, insights and advice on a wide range of sports events, news, and trends, as well as developing new content ideas that align with our brand voice and customer needs. You will work within the Content team and cross-functionally with other departments to produce high-quality and timely content that drives user engagement and retention.

Qualifications

1+ years of professional experience in sports content writing or journalism
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a deep understanding of the sports and betting industry
Ability to produce high-quality content on tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices
Experience with social media and how it can be used as a tool for content distribution and engagement
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally within a team-based environment
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, or a related field
