The Opportunity

SportsKeeda is looking for a Fortnite content writer who can help cover various aspects of the popular Battle Royale and PVE (Save The World) games. The applicant should be well versed with Fortnite’s history through the chapters, have in-depth understanding of the game’s mechanics, storyline and narrative and should be an active member in the community.

The applicant will be expected to constantly generate article ideas and deliver breaking news (challenges, updates, announcements) quickly and efficiently. The candidate should be well versed with top streamers/pros like SypherPK, NickEh30, Ninja, Tfue, Ali-A, Lazarbeam, Loserfruit, Muselk, Clix, Ronaldo, Bugha, Mongraal, Benjyfishy.

The candidate should have a comprehensive idea about the competitive Fortnite community, following top regional pros from NAE, NAW, EU, ME, OCE. Knowledge about competitive Fortnite and contacts with young professional players and organizations will be considered an add-on.

Key Responsibilities:

Write 4 to 5 articles daily.
Able to work under deadlines and deliver work quickly and efficiently.
Articles should not have a once of plagiarism, falsified facts, in-game errors, idea theft, clout-farming, click-baiting, and should not be derogatory in any form.
Can keep track of trending topics around the game and can break them on time.
Expected to develop a knowledge base for trends, news, fresh content from creators etc. Should be able to write on the current season’s best weapons, landing spots, meta changes, storyline without having to search on google.
Authors who play the game or data mine to discover leaks would be preferred.

Requirements:

Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following requirements:
Relevant experience in writing and editing.
Decent understanding of the game and its lore so far
A good grasp of the English language and the ability to communicate niche ideas to a wide-spread audience.
