Star Tribune’s Business team is looking for an ambitious and highly skilled reporter to cover agriculture and agribusiness, with an emphasis on finding and delivering timely enterprise stories on an industry that remains a foundation of Minnesota’s economy. We’re seeking a writer who can offer deeply reported stories on trends in farming technology, regulatory and trade issues that affect farmers, and the agricultural economics of rural Minnesota. Also important is fluency in rural life and culture, to examine the broader rural economy and the opportunities and challenges as agriculture and agribusiness evolve.
