Experienced Journalist

Sunraysia Daily is seeking an experienced journalist to join its team in the beautiful riverside city of Mildura in northwest Victoria

This is an opportunity to work on a busy and innovative newspaper in one of the fastest-growing regional areas in Australia.

Sunraysia Daily is published in print four days a week and maintains a custom-built news website. We are an independently owned newspaper that has been the voice of the Sunraysia community for over 100 years.

We are looking for a versatile journalist and a great networker who can generate quality stories on a diverse range of topics while adhering to the highest standards of journalism.

We will hire the applicant who can best demonstrate their ability to produce breaking news and engaging stories. Experience with online news writing will be an advantage.

This is a full-time position, which will involve rostered shifts on weekends and/or public holidays on rotation.

Remuneration will be structured to reflect the skills and experience of the successful applicant. Editorial staff are employed under a workplace agreement that includes base wage rates above the award minimum.
