To support graduate and undergraduate recruitment and College fundraising, the Digital Content Specialist captures/uses photo/video to highlight the Falk College student experience (including STEM & social science research, local/regional/national internships, study abroad, corporate visits, academic conferences) across communications channels (website, social, email, print). Must anticipate/comply with requirements of various off-site settings (hospitals, elementary schools, etc.). Must collaborate with Falk Communications team, College leaders, University partners, and third-party partners (internship sites). Must take charge on shoot assignments and subject interviews. Must use good news judgment and best practices to advise others and manage expectations. Must manage the full scope of video/photo production planning/logistics, such as: Communicate with photo/video subjects (students, faculty/staff, community members) to coordinate schedules, set expectations; Obtain/maintain permissions/release form documentation for various subjects/vendors/shoot locations. Works with the division of marketing, content strategy team, editorial calendar to follow university brand standards (design, language, etc.), governance (digital, social media), and brand approach. Reports to the Falk Director of Communications.
