About the role

The Senior Copywriter is responsible for reviewing, editing and approving engaging, accurate and accessible content for a range of Student Services requirements, including student communications, website content, staff resources, change communications and knowledge articles. The role supports a large team of writers and content producers and involves a high level of project coordination and collaboration.

Our content helps our customers make career and life-defining decisions – and we’re passionate about getting it right. We are seeking a Senior Copywriter to join our high-energy team temporarily until 30th June 2024. You can expect to join a supportive, collaborative team committed to putting our customers first.

About You

You’ll be a skilled content or communications professional who can confidently collaborate on projects, interview subject matter experts, present in project status meetings and develop clear content and communications plans. Your expert stakeholder engagement and coaching skills will enable you to support the team in developing content that meets the diverse needs of TAFE NSW’s staff and student cohorts. You will possess demonstrated content development and mapping experience, understand how to maximise engagement levels, grow self-service channel utilisation rates, and support student retention and completion with effective strategies.

You’ll be technologically adept, have robust analytical problem-solving skills and be familiar with agile ways of working.
