In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in documenting state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) technology.

Job Overview:
As a Technical Writer, you will craft clear, concise, and precise technical documentation for a range of EV projects. Collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders, you'll grasp intricate technical concepts and transform them into user-friendly instructions, manuals, and materials.

Responsibilities:

Analyze technical specifications, diagrams, and schematics to grasp the complexities of EV systems and components.
Create and maintain user manuals, service guides, installation instructions, and other technical documents for diverse audiences (engineers, technicians, customers).
Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards, style guides, and regulatory mandates.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to gather information, clarify technical aspects, and secure approvals.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through technical writing research.
Thoroughly proofread and edit documents to guarantee accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Contribute to building and managing a comprehensive technical documentation library.
Occasionally, attend team meetings, collaborate on projects, or handle specific tasks on-site at the Lourdestown facility.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Technical Writing or a similar role.
Profound comprehension of technical writing principles and best practices.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to convey intricate technical information clearly and concisely to various audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is advantageous.
Previous experience in the EV industry or related technical fields is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Capability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
