We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Copywriter to join our team as a contractor. In this role, you will collaborate with us on our blog publications, ensuring that our copy is compelling, well-written, and tailored to our target audience. As a Technical Copywriter, you will be responsible for proofreading, editing, and refining the content to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with our team to understand the goals, target audience, and messaging for our blog publications.
Review and proofread written content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Polish and refine copy to enhance readability, engage the audience, and deliver key messages effectively.
Craft compelling headlines, subheadings, and introductions that capture the readers' attention and drive engagement.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and writers to gather insights and inputs for the content creation process.
Ensure consistency in tone, style, and brand voice across all blog publications.
Optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO) to improve visibility and reach.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the quality and relevance of the content.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Technical Copywriter or similar role, with a strong portfolio of published work.
Excellent command of the English language, with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proficiency in understanding and translating complex technical concepts into engaging and easy-to-understand content.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content accordingly.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and trends in technology, software development, or related fields is a plus.
Experience working with blogging platforms and content management systems (CMS) is preferred.
