Job Description:
Parsons is in search of a gifted and driven technical writer/editor to join our team! As the voice behind Parsons, you will help us speak with one unified message. This role offers both remote and hybrid options - but we are looking for those who can be readily available near any of our offices on the East Coast so that they can assist properly with our Vehicle Inspection Programs. What You'll Be Doing:
Meeting with team members, including project managers and technical specialists to create content
Interviewing SMEs and crafting response documents
Responding to public proposal requests
Writing and editing publicly facing and client communications
Reviewing project documentation for consistency and completeness
Assisting with business development presentations
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe
Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts for the general public
Keen attention to detail
Excellent proofreading skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, maintaining the utmost professionalism and confidentiality while managing changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to travel domestically and to Canada

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, English/journalism, or related field (or equivalent work experience) and typically 5+ years of related work experience, including 3+ years of experience proofreading and editing all facets of technical engineering publications, specifications, and proposals from rough draft through print-ready.
