Siteimprove is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team. The Senior Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, technical specifications, installation guides, and troubleshooting guides. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a strong technical background, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
As a Senior Technical Writer at Siteimprove you will be part of the Technology & Operations, working alongside our Corporate Technology, Platform Operations & Security teams.
What The Role Is About
Write and edit technical documentation for products and services, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in tone and style.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content.
Manage the documentation development process, including writing, editing, formatting, and publishing.
Develop user manuals, technical specifications, installation guides, and troubleshooting guides, among other types of documentation.
Create diagrams, screenshots, and other visual aids to enhance the readability and usability of documentation.
Review and revise existing documentation to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate.
Ensure documentation adheres to company branding, style, and voice guidelines.
Maintain a strong understanding of the company's products and services and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
