Technical Writer

CSOFT is looking for freelance English technical writer with extensive experience creating IT technical documentation into their native language.
Responsibilities

Study product samples and talk with Product Manager when necessary
Write or revise supporting content for products
Incorporate animation, graphs, illustrations, or photographs to increase users’ understanding of the material
Work with Project Managers to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
Create and maintain the information architecture

Requirements

Proven working experience in technical writing of software/hardware documentation
Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to details
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
Excellent written skills in English
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/FrameMaker/Photoshop
Can read Chinese is a plus
Be based in China mainland
