Dispatch Doctrine writer may operate as part of the on-site in country team or work remotely. The Rigging and Air Dispatch Doctrine writer will collaborate with other doctrine writers, both on-site and remotely, to develop the required doctrinal publications. This position requires tactical and operational experience in providing tactical guidance and planning considerations for the rigging of military parachutes, and specialized military equipment. This position requires tactical and operational experience, as well as developing unit capabilities to achieve organizational mandates and missions. The SME must be familiar with Joint Operations, and how Rigging and Air Dispatch concepts and capabilities can be scaled and adapted to support establishing the desired client capabilities.
Desired Qualifications
Retired or former military rigger (NATO) with extensive tactical experience with rigging and air dispatch in support of Airborne, Air Assault, and Special Operations.
Ability to provide expert advice and counsel to senior military leaders on the tactical application of military rigging and air dispatch operations in support of land operations
Excellent verbal, written, management and leadership skills to effectively accomplish the duties and mission
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in on-site and distributed work environments with minimal oversight
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills (emphasis in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint)
Possess active Secret or higher security clearance or the ability to obtain an interim clearance
Possess a valid Passport (with more than 6 months to expiration)
Joint operations experience is desired
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree or BA in military science, or a related field
Senior Leader Course Graduate or higher or NATO equivalent
Ten or more years of military experience in providing rigging and air dispatch support to Airborne, Air Assault or Special Operations, preferably a tactical settings
Work history in the Middle East desired
Education and/or Experience:
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree or BA in military science, or a related field
Senior Leader Course Graduate or higher or NATO equivalent
Ten or more years of military experience in providing rigging and air dispatch support to Airborne, Air Assault or Special Operations, preferably a tactical settings
Work history in the Middle East desired
