The Arizona Daily Star, a Lee Enterprises company, has an immediate opening for an education reporter. The ideal candidate will be passionate about covering k-12 schools and have at least two years of reporting experience at a daily newspaper or equivalent media company. Enterprise, investigative and accountability journalism is emphasized in news coverage of five large school districts in the metro Tucson area. While some school board meeting coverage will be required, the successful candidate will focus more on illuminating topics and issues that have sweeping interest for families across a metropolitan area that more than a million people call home.
