The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic multimedia editor to join our team of journalists to produce exclusive video, audio and other content for our website and apps. The multimedia editor will shoot and edit original video. Under deadline in a complex, sometimes fast-paced environment, the editor will gather videos, photos, audio and graphics from various sources to combine into newsworthy videos to compliment daily and long-term coverage. The individual is responsible for building daily photo galleries from wire sources and will help generate a daily budget of multimedia elements.

The individual will oversee the video and podcast studios, as well as train staff to shoot video. They will work with newsroom reporters and photographers to hone video shooting, audio recording and editing skills with mobile phones, video cameras and other equipment
