The Associated Press seeks a temporary (two-year assignment) News Associate to join its East Region Desk in New York, a dynamic operation that includes editors in text, photo, multimedia and video who work as a team to ensure AP owns coverage of the day’s news in all formats. Reporting to the Deputy News Director , Newsgathering, the news associates will select, rewrite and publish news from AP members for use by other AP members.
