Sports Journalist

The Culpeper Star-Exponent is hiring an enterprising and passionate sports journalist to cover sports in our region of Virginia. We’re looking for a talented journalist with a gift for finding compelling stories that connect with our audience on all platforms. Our coverage will go beyond the scores and look at the players, coaches, and fans who make sports special.

The ideal candidate will have experience writing on deadline, a firm grasp on AP style, and the ability to complement their writing with multimedia elements like videos, podcasts and data.

This position requires night and weekend availability.
