We are looking for a talented, enterprising and adaptable fellow for the expanding Digital department of The Economist. This fellow will spend one year working in our New York bureau, and will start as soon as possible. The fellow will work in the Digital team, but will be able to offer contributions to other departments, from audio to films to the weekly edition. The aim of the fellowship is to find and train future Economist journalists. Previous journalistic experience is not necessary, but candidates should have excellent writing and analytical skills. They should be curious about the world and be able to write about it concisely, wittily and with rigour. Fellows should quickly become familiar with The Economist’s Style Guide.
