We are a conservative, highly political newspaper who is committed to covering the community we serve. We are looking for a news leader who can manage and direct the daily operations of the newsroom while holding a beat of his or her own. Our managing editor will focus on the government, making sure our readers are informed and up to date and that our community leaders are completely transparent. You will coordinating with reporters and other newsroom staff on long-range planning and production. Assisting on social media response and breaking news. Managing and directing evening newsroom staff and identifying training opportunities for growth and development all employees.
