Features Reporter and Designer

We're looking for a smart, detail-oriented person to write features and design pages for The Manhattan Mercury. This position is about half page layout and half reporting on local arts and culture, so we're looking for someone who's well-acquainted with AP style and Adobe InDesign. It's a great job for someone with a good foundation of technical skills who also wants the space to be creative in their work.

The Manhattan Mercury is a six-day-a-week publication in Manhattan, Kansas, a college town of 56,000 in the Flint Hills, and the home of Kansas State University. Its parent company, Seaton Publications, has been family owned for more than a century.
