We need a scrappy reporter who can break news, write authoritatively and craft enterprise stories that our readers can’t get anywhere else. In this job, you will have the opportunity to grow and write in many different forms, including longer-form pieces, breaking news, Q&As, profiles and quick-turn enterprise stories. At The Morning Call, we are looking to engage audiences on their level across multiple platforms, from newsletters to social media. This position will afford opportunities to report on a variety of topics, with an emphasis on K-12 education issues. We’re not looking for meeting agenda journalism. We’re looking for someone who can produce daily stories as well as enterprise coverage in education and other topics of interest.
