The New York Times Opinion department is looking for an experienced audience editor, armed with expertise and curiosity, to bolster its presence on our homepage and across various platforms. In particular, this editor would be focused on co-running the Times Opinion Instagram account and producing live programming (including Instagram Lives, Twitter chats and Spaces).c The assignment is expected to be a minimum of six months. We're seeking a candidate who is highly organized and enjoys the changing nature of digital journalism. You will be creative and collaborative, excited to work closely with editors, producers, designers and the rest of the Opinion Audience team. You should also be comfortable making decisions independently, exercising keen editorial judgment. You can navigate distribution tools, trends and tactics with ease, and you're eager to experiment with ways to engage with our audience.
