The New York Times and the Ida B. Wells Society for Investigative Reporting are seeking an inquisitive, enterprising and nimble student journalist or recent graduate to join The Times’s Investigations desk as a paid summer reporting intern. This 10-week remote program will provide one intern with mentorship from top Times editors and our writing coach, training on investigative fundamentals and the opportunity to work on projects for the news report. It is set to be funded through the Ida B. Wells Society, a news trade organization whose mission is to increase the representation and profile of reporters and editors of color in the field of investigative reporting.
