News Assistant

The New York Times is seeking a news assistant to support the deputy for Audience on the international desk to ensure our journalism is distributed widely and meets our audience targets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, collaborative and diplomatic with a passion for digital journalism. A sense of humor is a plus. While you will take direction from senior editors, you will also demonstrate initiative, creativity and a hunger to learn and grow. You are eager to understand ways to engage our audience and have experience working in a digital news environment.
