Newsletter Writer, Back to Work

The New York Times is seeking a talented writer for a new newsletter to address a unique and pivotal moment, as tens of millions of workers in the United States alone prepare to return to the office after more than a year at home.

We are looking for a candidate who can tackle a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:
- The value of face-to-face communication with coworkers, balanced against the burdens of commuting and living in high-cost areas.
- The brewing battle over hybrid working policies.
- The changing balance of power between managers and workers.
- The future of racial and gender equality in the workplace
- The future of cities, transportation, urban cores, telecommuting, parenting, schooling and the eternal question of appropriate attire.
