We’re seeking someone who is a gifted storyteller, an analytical thinker and a versatile writer capable of tackling a wide range of issues. You should have a fast metabolism for news, be willing to travel often for on-the-ground assignments and have a knack for getting voters to open up. Experience with breaking news and reporting on tight deadlines is key, but you should also be an expressive and insightful writer who can pull off larger think pieces and ambitious features. Eligible candidates should be well-sourced, with at least five years of experience in reporting and a strong background in covering politics. A demonstrated ability to uncover information and report accurately, with verve and flair, is important.
