T Brand Studio is a team of energetic writers/editors, videographers, designers and developers creating branded content for The New York Times’s advertisers. Our work takes many forms — from reported articles to documentary videos, from data visualizations to live events — and ranges from unbranded, journalistic reportage to branded experiences focusing on our partners’ products, services or people. For this engagement, the Senior Editor will work on a high profile initiative in the Special Projects Team to lead, develop and produce an on-going cadence of editorial content to support a new digital publication with a client partner and other 3rd parties. The Senior Editors’ tasks include: concepting and ideation; commissioning writers; writing and editing editorial content; brainstorming on ways to audience development and editorial opportunities within off platform, social and other marketing channels, presenting to internal stakeholders, clients and other parties as well as developing and managing our editorial network.
