The New York Times is seeking a reporter to cover the pharmaceutical industry, focusing heavily on drug development and the business of drug development. The ideal candidate will have pharmaceutical company sources and experience covering the beat. Ability to cover news and do enterprise and investigative stories is a must. While this job is based in the business department, the funnest group at The Times, the work will involve collaborating with colleagues in the science group, abroad and in the Washington, D.C. bureau. This person will be a key member of the team reporting on efforts to develop treatments and cures for the coronavirus.
