Sports Reporter/Assistant Copy Desk Editor

We are looking for a sports reporter to help us expand our high school sports coverage, as well as help design newspaper pages on our news desk. In this hybrid position, the staffer would cover sports three days a week and work on our news design desk two days a week. He or she would be working with our copy desk editor to create a seven-day presence on our design/copy desk. He or she would work out of our Jefferson City office, and must have a command of AP style, previous sports coverage experience, as well as samples of his or her news or features design work.
