The Northeast Georgian, a twice-weekly newspaper in the beautiful hills of Habersham County, Ga., is looking to hire a new reporter to build on our already-talented news team. Applicants must be willing to write 8-10 stories per week, work their sources and immerse themselves in the process of covering their community. The newspaper is located in Cornelia, Ga., but we cover a vast community with seven municipalities. Habersham County is a bustling news environment with plenty to talk about. An ideal candidate would not only be able to generate story ideas, but also generate ideas on how to grow and improve our print paper as well as our digital product.
