Newsroom Internship - Summer 2020

New Posted 6 November 2019 | Philadelphia, PA | The Philadelphia Inquirer

The Philadelphia Inquirer offers a number of summer internships. Candidates should be self-starters excited about today’s journalism across multiple platforms. They should have ideas to bring to the table as well as the ability to execute professionally the ideas of their editors. Interns work a 40-hour week for 10 weeks beginning in the weeks of June 1 or 15 depending on the close of their academic year. Pay is $18 an hour. International students should check the work status allowed under their visa with their school’s international student office before applying. Our 2019 interns wrote front-page and top of the home page stories, shot photo galleries for online, laid out print section fronts, and much more.
