The Post and Courier is looking for a reporter to cover Charleston city government -- a world-class city that is celebrating its 350th anniversary. There are opportunities in this Pulitzer Prize-winning newsroom to do some of the best work of your career, limited only by your ambition and curiosity. The Post and Courier is a locally owned newspaper, investing in its newsroom and expanding statewide at a time when others are contracting. The ideal candidate will be a creative and critical thinker able to look beyond the story of the day toward deeper angles, themes and broader state and national perspectives. We are looking for someone with at least three to five years of experience in a daily newsroom and proven track record of watchdog reporting and well-crafted storytelling.
