Magazine Editor

The Real Deal — the leading publication covering the New York City, South Florida and Los Angeles real estate markets — is looking for a full-time editor to work on its main NYC monthly magazine.

The job includes coming up with story ideas, assigning/working with reporters, editing stories, collaborating with designers on art and layout concepts and everything else that goes into putting out a monthly magazine.

Candidates should have a team-player mentality and bring ideas to our growing and entrepreneurial newsroom. Strong reporters looking to transition into editing are welcome to apply.

Experience in editing narrative stories, knowledge of magazine production and a background in real estate/business journalism is a plus. Competitive salary.
