The Seattle Times, a family-owned news organization and one of the nation’s premier regional news sources, is seeking a savvy and well-rounded Assistant Metro Editor. This job focuses on editing breaking news and event-based coverage on nights and the weekend for various digital platforms. The editor also must help select, edit and publish wire stories and build our print plan. This editor will work 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Some weekend days may go longer. And this editor will work 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday – Wednesday.
