Business Reporter

The Telegraph is looking for an ambitious journalist to join its growing business team. The business team covers everything from FTSE 100 companies to the best of the UK's small businesses, from house price data to macro-economic statistics. The principal focus of the business reporter is the pharmaceuticals industry and general business reporting, producing strong, interesting reporting which will work as well digitally as it does in print. They will sometimes also be expected to take on other topics as requested by the business desk editors. Applicants will need to have an acute news sense and be demonstrable self-starters. They will also need to be numerically literate, team players, and digitally savvy.
