Senior News Reporter

The New Hampshire Union Leader is seeking an experienced, full-time general assignment reporter. The Union Leader’s emphasis is on finding substantive, exclusive news stories of relevance to readers, not producing routine coverage. The job is for a self-starter, effective communicator and skilled multi-tasker.

Required experience:

Minimum three years of daily reporting experience, including both hard news and features on deadline;
Ability to identify and develop sources and generate audience-oriented story ideas;
Experience reporting, organizing and producing longer-form investigative and enterprise features while keeping up with daily responsibilities;
Advanced computer and records research skills;
News photography skills.
