The Wall Street Journal is seeking a senior video journalist to join the enterprise video team and lead production across its ongoing series. This role entails producing episodes for our various video franchises, as well as developing series pilots. Formats include news and feature explainers covering topical events and evergreen stories. You should have a professional background in video journalism, demonstrate exceptional story development and scriptwriting and have experience with shooting and editing. You will be expected to efficiently juggle multiple tasks and should be excited about pitching, developing, reporting and writing scripts, shooting and editing videos. Please note, this is not an entry-level position and it is not a position producing documentaries. Because this is a global news operation, you will need to show successful executions of timely news projects that have been done in just a few hours, as well as videos produced with longer lead times. While you will likely begin remotely, you will eventually be based in the New York office, with opportunities to produce in the studio and the field.
