SEO Editor, Speed & Trending Desk

The Wall Street Journal is looking for a dynamic and experienced SEO editor to play an essential part in shaping our breaking news and trending news strategy. You must be able to employ superb news judgment and demonstrate a strong understanding of SEO and social media trends. Evergreen and Q&A-style content should be part of your wheelhouse but you should also be familiar with breaking news practices. You will play a key part in the growth and development of the SEO at The Wall Street Journal, working with bureaus across the organization, most often the new Speed & Trending Desk. A strong command of newsroom workflows and proficiency with digital publishing tools are crucial for success. You will report to the Senior SEO Editor. While you will likely start the job working remotely, you will eventually be based in our London office.
